• Bachelor of  Science degree  in Tropical Crop Production from Deventer Agricultural University (The Netherlands).
• Master of Science degree in Post-Harvest Technology from Cranfield University in the United Kingdom.

Short Bio: After 5 years in the UK working for one of the largest importers of fresh fruit and vegetables as Post Harvest Technologist / Director, I moved to China where he set-up  and managed/founded various projects/companies: solar greenhouse improvement project, vegetable diversification project, pig breeding program, agricultural training centre and a cheese making factory. I lived there with my family for 20 years before moving back to The Netherlands in 2017. Due to my diverse interest and knowledge and experience, I like to call himself a ‘multi-specialist / expert’  within different sectors and areas of work:

• Dairy Processing (Cheese Making)
• Post Harvest Management

I am currently a freelance consultant and trainer/lecturer. I have an extensive network around the world in various sectors. I have visited over 35 countries for technical, marketing and project management assistance to exporters/farmers/growers as well as a project management/consulting for government agencies.

I enjoy working in a team using my specific skills and talents. I am an experienced International Business Development and Value Chain Consultant with a demonstrated history of working in the agri-business sector. Skilled in International Cross-Cultural Relations, Management, Marketing Strategy and Business Development.

I speak four language: English, Spanish and Chinese and Dutch.
